Networks Command in Windows

Sometimes people think of these programs as MS-DOS commands, but they have nothing to do with the Disk Operating System! They are simply Command-Line (or Window's Console) programs which were included with the Windows 95/98 OSs. They are all full 32-bit programs which means they cannot be exectued until after Windows (a 32-bit operating system) is up and running. These programs are found in your WINDOWS directory.


The Network programs discussed over here are:


NETSTAT.exe (TCP/IP Net Connections)
PING.exe
TRACERT.exe (Trace Route)
NBSTAT.exe
ROUTE.exe
ARP.exe

NETSTAT.exe TCP/IP Network Statistics
Displays protocol statistics and current TCP/IP network connections.

NETSTAT [-a] [-e] [-n] [-s] [-p proto] [-r] [interval]

-a Displays all connections and listening ports.

-e Displays Ethernet statistics. This may be combined with the
-s option.

-n Displays addresses and port numbers in numerical form.

-p proto Shows connections for the protocol specified by proto; proto
may be TCP or UDP.…

Trace command in windows

Usage:
tracert [-d] [-h maximum_hops] [-j host-list] [-w timeout] target_name

Options:
-d Do not resolve addresses to hostnames.
-h maximum_hops Maximum number of hops to search for target.
-j host-list Loose source route along host-list.
-w timeout Wait timeout milliseconds for each reply.

Here's an example which traces the route from some ISP in Los Angeles to the main server at UCLA in California ( note how two computers relatively close to each other may be routed way round about! ):

over a maximum of 30 hops:

Laptop Mode tools on Arch Linux

Install laptop-mode-tools
  $yaourt -S laptop-mode-tools
  $yaourt -S hdparm Run service for laptop mode tools
  #systemctl enable laptop-mode.service
  Install acpid
  $yaourt -S acpid Run service for acpid
  #systemctl enable acpid.service Install cpupower
  $yaourt -S cpupower Run Service for cpupower

This is my personal notes when i try to learn Vi editor

To input press 'i'
Finish input press 'esc'
To change cursor, don't forget to press "esc" after that:

Install and configure tor (ARCH Linux)

Install tor and vidalia

  #pacman -S tor
Run the services
#systemctl enable tor
#systemctl start tor

Install burg on arch linux

This is my personal notes when i try to install burg
Install burg:
$yaourt -S burg-bios-bzr
Install burg to your MBR
#burg-install /dev/sda
Configure burg (Detect OS in sda)
#burg-mkconfig -o /boot/burg/burg.cfg
  This is some burg themes:
$yaourt -S burg-themes
$yaourt -S burg-themes-extras
$yaourt -S persia-theme-burg
$yaourt -S arch-theme-burg
Don't foreget, after you install burg, you must re-Configure your burg:
#burg-mkconfig -o /boot/burg/burg.cfg

Power Up your wireless power until 60 db with kasens 990WG and Arch Linux

I use kasens wireless USB Adapter 990WG, in the box said 6000MW.
And i try to setting reg db to Bolivia (BO) but i just got 20dbm.  Because BO limit the power until 20 DB. so I create my own wireless power and it's work. My distro is Arch linux..
This is step by step:
     Download Wireless-reg-db
     Extract Wireless-reg-dr
     Edit db.txt with your editor and insert in the last of db.txt

#nano db.txt
    country ZZ:
  (2402 - 2482 @ 60), (N/A, 60)

After that,
 install python2-m2crypto

#yoaurt -S python2-m2crypto
If you get syntax error, edit db2bin.py to version 2
Because db2bin.py use python2 and default python compiler in arch linux is puthon 3

#sudo make
Install CRDA

$yaourt -S crda

Copy regulatory.bin to crda

#cp regulatory.bin /usr/lib/crda/
Extract crda for example:
 /home/user/Wireless/reg-db/crda-1.1.3

Install libnl
#yaourt -S libnl
Copy root.key.pub to crda folder
#cp root.key.pub.pem /home/user/Wireless/reg-db/crda-1.1.3/pubkeys/
Go to crda directory:
#make
#make inst…
